The annual fundraising campaign involving the Baker County YMCA and some local restaurants has wrapped up, and it is being called a big success. The participating restaurants contributed a portion of their profits to support the YMCA’s scholarship program for youth and kids in the annual money raising event that is known as “Y Fridays.” This year, eight local restaurants helped raise approximately $3,000… money that will help ensure the Baker City children can participate in sports, even if their families can’t afford to do so.
