Wildfire Dangers Continue

Oregon’s wildfire crisis continues as four megafires persist, each blazing for nearly 50 days. The Durkee, Falls, Lone Rock, and Monkey Creek fires have scorched over 100,000 acres each, with the Falls Fire leading at 151,689 acres. This season, which is the most severe since 2020, has already destroyed 36 homes and claimed one life. Emergency teams remain on high alert to tackle any new threats.
