A former New Jersey resident is headed to federal prison for his role in a scheme to deceive and cheat $1 million from an elderly Roseburg, Oregon man. 43 year old Thomas Mautone was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison, followed by another three years of supervised release. Mautone was also ordered to pay $1 million in restitution to his victim. Mautone was convicted by a jury following a trial back in May in Eugene.
