A fire at the Motel 6 in Ontario left one person injured. The victim was airlifted to a hospital with burns. The blaze began on the second floor and spread into the attic. Ontario Fire & Rescue, supported by Fruitland Fire and other units, quickly contained the fire and prevented further damage. Motel staff helped evacuate guests, and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office.
