The La Grande School District’s new Wildcat Center at La Grande Middle School is set to open on September 25. After 16 months of construction, the multi-use facility will include six classrooms, practice areas for softball and baseball, and multiple pickleball courts. The grand opening will feature an open house from 5 to 7 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. The center will offer state-of-the-art academic and athletic facilities, and public rental options are being considered. The gymnasium will be available for use starting tomorrow.
