More Wolf Depredations Listed

In late August, the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife confirmed four wolf depredations across the state. On August 21st, a six-month-old calf was found dead in Grant County’s Crane Prairie area. The following day, a three-month-old calf was injured in Wasco County’s McCubbins Gulch. On August 25th, an injured five-month-old calf was reported in Wallowa County, followed by a dead seven-month-old calf in Wallowa County on August 27th. ODFW attributed the first two incidents to the Logan Valley Pack and White River wolves, while the latter two were caused by the Bear Creek Pack.
