Don’t Drink and Boat This Holiday Weekend

Law enforcement agencies across Oregon are gearing up for Operation Dry Water, set to run from July 4th to July 6th. This initiative, coordinated nationally, aims to curb boating accidents caused by impaired operators. The Oregon Marine Board, Sheriff’s Offices, and State Police will be on heightened patrol, targeting those boating under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The consequences can be severe, including hefty fines, jail time, and loss of boating privileges.
