Elgin High School Agriculture Teacher Daniel Bolen has been honored with the Oregon Agriculture Teachers’ Association Outstanding Teacher Award. Recognized for his dedication over 17 years, including the last decade at Elgin High, Bolen’s leadership has significantly expanded the school’s agriculture program and FFA membership, securing nearly one million dollars in grants. Bolen will now represent Oregon at the National Association of Agricultural Educators Region 1 competition in 2025.
