Reward Increased for Information on Elk Killer

The Oregon Hunters Association has increased the reward to $1,500 for information on a bull elk illegally shot and left to waste in Linn County on August 30 or 31. The 5X5 Roosevelt elk was found near Lebanon, gutted and partially skinned. OHA’s Mid-Willamette Valley chapter added $500 to the standard reward of $1,000 to encourage tips. This case is one of three recent poaching incidents. Anyone with information can contact Oregon State Police. Anonymity is an option for those who report.
