A La Grande woman is, despite her last name, unlucky after being involved in two separate fights. Last Wednesday, 26 year old Jennifer Lucky was first reported to have assaulted a former acquaintance at a residence on 20th Street, leading to charges of Assault and Disorderly Conduct. She left the scene before police arrived, but was later arrested at another disturbance on 12th Street. There, she faced additional charges for the earlier incident and Disorderly Conduct for the second altercation. Lucky, who did not cooperate with authorities, remains under investigation, with potential for further charges.
