Student Financial Aid Challenges Outlined

Oregon high school seniors are overcoming challenges with the new application process, showing promising completion rates for federal and state financial aid. Despite technical issues and delays with the revamped policies, over 47% of Oregon’s Class of 2024 has completed their applications, only slightly down from last year. The state’s completion rate is currently about 5% higher than in 2022. While the new system initially caused setbacks, the momentum for aid applications remains strong, with final numbers expected to meet or exceed previous years.
