An investigation is now underway in La Grande, where police say a man tried to lure a child into a vehicle near La Grande Middle School on Thursday. Here’s what we know so far… A man in a black SUV is said to have pulled up next to the student who was walking to the middle school, and he then tried to get that student to get into his vehicle. The child didn’t do that, and notified school administrators, who then called the police. Nobody has yet been arrested, but additional law enforcement will be patrolling the area and school sites.
