Drivers who use the Brownlee–Oxbow Highway in Hells Canyon can expect to experience some delays of up to 30 minutes daily now through February 14th. The delays are necessary so Idaho Power contractors can perform road maintenance. An automatic signal controls traffic near Black Canyon, about 10 miles south of Oxbow. That’s where workers are clearing rocks and debris. If you travel through that area, you are urged to use extra caution. The work schedule each day is subject to change based on weather.
