In La Grande, emergency repairs had to be made on a broken water valve on Sunset Drive. Starting at 9am Tuesday, residents west of Alder Street and north of K Avenue were warned that they would experience reduced water pressure or possibly no water at all. The repair they were told, could take up to six hours. The city’s Public Works Department worked diligently to restore service as quickly as possible.
