In Eugene, more than 50 people were arrested following a pro-Palestinian protest that brought Interstate 5 to a standstill. The demonstration, which blocked southbound lanes, led to charges of disorderly conduct and other offenses. Law enforcement responded with a large deployment of officers. The protest disrupted traffic for about an hour before authorities restored normal flow.
