In La Grande, Mayor Justin Rock has declared April as Arbor Month to celebrate the city’s commitment to urban forestry and its Tree City USA status. La Grande is going beyond Arbor Day with a series of events, including a poster contest on bird habitats for local students and a field day on April 26th to honor National Arbor Day.
