Early Monday morning, just after 5, Umatilla County Regional Dispatch got a 911 call from Golda Rd in Hermiston, about a man who had been shot. Deputies and detectives responded, and found two people, 42-year-old Brandy Maglaughlin and a 54-year-old man, who was conscious with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The man, whose name has not been released, was rushed to the hospital by Lifeflight. Maglaughlin was arrested and is not behind bars in the Umatilla County Jail on the charges including Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. There has been no update on the man’s injuries.
