A crash late last week claimed one life in Canyon County. Idaho State Police now say it happened just after 5pm last Thursday. A pickup truck was driven by a 64 year old man from Caldwell. A Volkswagen Jetta, driven by a 27-year-old man from Meridian failed to yield at a stop sign and slammed into the pickup at intersection of Friends Rd. and Lower Pleasant Ridge Rd. A 65-year-old female passenger in the truck… also of Caldwell… was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
